Gradescope now supports LaTeX

Write math expressions using LaTeX markup

Gradescope
1 min readDec 10, 2016

Now you can include math symbols in rubric items, comments, and regrade requests and responses using LaTeX!

Here’s how it works:

Inline mode: Put $$ around your LaTeX markup, and Gradescope will render your math expressions inline with text.

Paragraph mode: Put $$$ delimiters around your LaTeX markup. Your math expressions will appear larger and in a separate paragraph.

Thanks to everyone who requested this feature! If you have any questions or feedback about it, please reach out to us at feedback@gradescope.com. We’ll be releasing more features this winter, and you can track our progress on our product roadmap.
